On Line, or in Louth, Lincolnshire

Starting at 19:30 on August 4th 2020, then on the first Tuesday of every month.

Our Tuesday Evening Poetry Workshop is a new yet nostalgic gathering (we started this in 2007) where poets are inspired to write new poetry, on the hoof as it where, blowing away the cobwebs, but still with a theme to follow.

We use inspiring writings, usual or unusual found objects, favourite pieces of music, specific physical experiences, psychological or philosophical encounters, day to day and out of the ordinary locations, visitations, meditations, dreams, or even visualisations to help trigger your next poem.

It is about writing with the pressure on, but it is writing that does not have to be the final work. The work on the night is the springboard to take away and finesse. But you will read it on the night, so do be prepared to up your reading game.

We are all hoping to inspire each other to keep our own poetry development progressing, whether that be to submit to competitions, or to have published via traditional routes or using our own resources.

We really hope you can join us, we do work hard, but we also have a good deal of fun.

There is a £5-00 (£3-00 for online) contribution towards costs suggested for each session, simply click the donate button and set up as you wish.
